Ayla has announced the electronic meter system to provide electricity and water services to boats at Ayla’s docks. It is an initiative aiming at providing an exceptional experience at all measures to all Ayla’s boat dock goers and to make it easier for them to receive all utility services. It also conserves the consumption of essential resources, which delivers Ayla’s message of sustainability furtherance.
The electronic meter system developed by the Italian Company, Plus International, for Ayla have been started to be used. This system provides water and electricity services to boats in accordance with the demands of the yacht dock or Al Marsa Village goers an those who like to enjoy the beaches and marine tours to and from Ayla.
The new system allows subscribers to fully control their boats’ consumption of water and electricity. They will be able to recharge the credit balance of such utilities in electronic keys set for switching the distribution points on and off.
This new system enhances the sustainability practices by minimizing the consumption of water and electricity in accordance with the user’s demands. It gets along with the latest technical applications of serving the environmental objectives and providing unmatchable services to residents and visitors in various facilities.
The system has a number of features, including the recharchablity of credit balance as a subscriber wishes and enabling him to read and keep track of the consumption amount and the remaining credit balance at any time. This allows the subscriber to control the value or time permissible for each use, which reduces the water loss rate due to leaving the water sources open while not in use.

Ayla’s yacht dock could host about 202 boats at a time during phase 1 of operation with an infrastructure capacity for about 300 boats in future. Some of those boats are around 40 meters in length. The dock also provides refueling and dry-docking services within full protection and monitoring systems.
