Ayla recently hosted the third edition of the Ayla Vs World Golf Competition in Aqaba, Jordan, attracting a diverse group of international participants. Taking place on February 9th and 10th, the event was organized by Ayla Oasis Development Company with the goal of introducing golf enthusiasts to the rules and dynamics of golf competitions while providing them with the opportunity to compete alongside global professionals.
This unique event, held at the Ayla Golf Club, featured a competitive challenge between Ayla employees, club members, and a group of amateur players from various countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United States, Spain, Finland, Scotland, South Korea, Russia, and Thailand.
With 25 participants showcasing a high level of competitiveness, the tournament allowed Ayla employees to engage in the game alongside members, participating in a challenging competition to familiarize themselves with the intricacies of the sport.
Jason Vermeulen, the head coach of Ayla Golf Club, expressed his excitement about the exceptional third edition of Ayla Vs World, considering it a groundbreaking championship that serves as an additional incentive for introducing golf to the Ayla family members. He emphasized the role of Ayla in promoting golf locally and regionally, building on previous successes to contribute to the development of a new generation of players in the kingdom.
The third edition of Ayla Vs World is part of Ayla’s comprehensive program aimed at promoting and developing golf in Jordan, with the objective of reaching a global professional standard and attracting new enthusiasts to the sport.
