In embodiment of its established commitment to supporting the national efforts to contain COVID-19 consequences and prevent the spread of the virus, Ayla continues its campaign to raise awareness of the health measures and adopted practices to prevent the transmission using creative information means targeting the local community members and Aqaba visitors.
Ayla took the initiative to make and spread out an awareness video with respect to precaution against the coronavirus transmission. The video is streamed on major screens located in a crowded area at the center of Aqaba. It was designed to simulate the city’s nature and the easiness to receive instructions from audience.
Furthermore, Ayla sent its message of the necessity to comply with wearing face masks in a creative way targeting various ages. It designed face masks for buses and vehicles dedicated to transporting workers in order to raise awareness among as many recipients as possible all over Aqaba and to raise constant awareness of the importance of the personal preventive means and healthy practices to mitigate the spread of the virus.
As a part of its comprehensive plan, Ayla Oasis Development Company randomly performs PCR tests for its employees on a weekly basis to ensure those employees together with its visitors as much prevention as possible while continuing to perform comprehensive disinfection campaigns at all its facilities and vehicles on a regular basis.

From the beginning of the pandemic, Ayla has been in the frontlines of fighting against coronavirus by responding to the national plan to fight the coronavirus crisis consequences. Ayla took the initiative to provide its support and help to the prevention supplies distribution to a number of national institutions that are in constant and direct contact with populace within Aqaba Special Economic Zone.
In addition, Ayla launched a disinfection program of a number of public schools in Aqaba and continued to provide its support to the Solidarity Fund established by Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority to aid the People Affected by COVID-19 Pandemic who lost their jobs.
