The Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, the largest global corporate golf tournament lands
in Ayla Oasis, Aqaba on 8th November.
Named the best in Europe by Skytrax and reinforcing its leading position by expanding
its already unparalleled flight network, Turkish Airlines also continues its strong support for golf
evidenced by its position with the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup. Now in its eighth year, the
Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup showcases Turkish Airlines’ commitment to its this strong
feature, and also contributes to further recognition of Turkish hospitality in all over the world.
Participants are invited personally by Turkish Airlines to play on some of the world’s top courses
in past years, including Royal Birkdale, the 2017 British Open Championship venue, and Ryder
Cup venues Gleneagles, Edinburgh, the K Club, Dublin and Paris’s Le Golf National in 2018.
From each 118 qualifying tournaments in 67 countries around the world, the winners will
advance to the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Grand Final, which will be held in December at
Gloria Serenity Resort in Antalya, Türkiye.
Turkish Airlines Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Ahmet Olmuştur said: “We are
pleased to be part of Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup again as our network continues to expand.
As the airline flying to most countries in the world, we as Turkish Airlines committed to support
and work with international sports organizations and bringing people together from all over the
world.”
